Peruvian Blue Opal plain rondelle beads have a waxy luster, exhibit great polish, show a symmetrical shape, have excellent depth of color with areas of tan brown matrix, and are well matched throughout the strand. These Blue Opalina beads exhibit dark strongly greenish blue and ultramarine hues in an opaque quality. This type of opal is mined only in the Andes Mountains in Peru and are richly hued from a natural Copper mineral content. AA grade
