Ethiopian Wollo Black Opal plain tear drops have a waxy luster on an opaque body, the beads have smooth polish on a symmetrical body. These Opal beads originate from the Wollo Region in Ethiopia which is the only African source for Black Opal. The beads show a very strong Red and Green play of color on the dark black bodies for exceptional fire, and these beads are well matched for quality on the strand.
