Andalusite (and-a-LOO-site) is a pleochroic gemstone exhibiting strong yellowish Green, orangy Blue, Colorless, Pink and Green hues in one transparent gemstone. Andalusite received its name from the region of Spain called Andalusia where the rare gem was discovered.
